Set six posted to Patreon and new special poll up!

Hey everyone, set six is done and up on Patreon right now! It features 24 images of the newly improved Lucia and a tentacle monster. Four preview images are below, and I think it is my best set so far from an image standpoint. (The story for set five was better, I feel.) Once again the set ended up being what I consider large, (20+ images) but this is probably for the best. There are both clean and comic versions of each image in the file on Patreon, to give you both options. (As always, the set is Patreon only for a month, then released free here.)

As promised, the new special poll is now up on the right under the side project poll. It asks which of the given options would you like to see in the seventh set. I will use whatever option wins the poll so choose carefully and spread the word about the polls! As previously mentioned there is the twin poll to this special one up on Patreon as well, asking what girl you want to see star in the seventh set. All my named girls are available choices as well as a new one that I haven't used yet. (Preview of her is on Patreon also, I think she is really nice. http://www.patreon.com/redleatherart)

If one person signs up for the appropriate tiers, ($5 and up this time, usually $15 and up) they could decide who stars in the seventh set. Obviously more votes/patrons would be preferable, but even one vote will prevent it from going to a random choice. (This is what I will most likely do if nobody signs up/votes.) Patrons of the $5 tiers and up also get access to the fifth and sixth sets right now, as well as other bonuses listed on Patreon.

Any constructive comments/support/votes go a long way in helping me make better images/comics. You can also follow my blog with the follow widget at the bottom right of the blog. As always please spread the word about my work and the special poll which will run until December 8th. I still need votes on the side project poll as well, which I consider more important than the special poll. Currently it seems people prefer the images/comics I currently do over anything else.

EDIT 11/27: I just ordered some new hardware thanks to black friday pricing. I will post an update on how this works out next week probably. In other news, I still need votes in both polls. According to the last big poll, people wanted to see monsters more than anything else. I am giving you the option to pick one from the list right now and so far no progress has been made, which seems odd to me. The side project poll is also very important and hasn't gotten many votes. I can do most of those things fairly easily, but some would require me to refresh my python coding. What I try to do depends on what people vote for which so far is just image sets/comics.

EDIT 11/28: Got a few more odds and ends with the various black friday sales; they should help out in future sets. Keep voting in the polls please and spread the word about them. I will probably make a Patreon mini set or something in the meantime.

Set 6 public preview, status update, and a new poll

Hey all.  Nobody is voting on the old polls so I am taking them down and putting up a new one right now and I will post another special poll when set six is done. It seems people think a story is fairly important to an image set, and that either one large set or two small sets is fine.  The new poll asks which of the following ideas most appeals to you. As in the last big poll, you can vote for multiple options but keep it to two or three please. To explain this a bit, I have done most of these things before and/or want to try to do them here if/when I find the time. I will go ahead and say that voting on this is rather important; probably more so than the upcoming special poll, as it will tell me what people are interested in seeing. The new poll is up now; on the right of the blog under the Patreon link, and should be up for a month-ish.

On the other hand, there were no votes whatsoever regarding the implementation of the story in set four, so I just have to assume it was decent. It was basically a test run of implementing a story, so the story itself was very limited and in no way representative of what I can/will be doing. The story in set five however is pretty good and much more representative of what I usually do. (The set itself is better too.)

The comic of set five is a self-contained story, as I am trying to work up to getting a small story arc together. I have the characters made and a story mostly planned, I just need to find time to work on it. (I also wanted to wait until I had poser lighting mostly figured out, which I think I do now.) It is really hard to manage with so little time/assets but I am trying.

I will also post a new special poll whenever the sixth set is finished, so keep checking back for that; it will ask what monster(s) you all want to see in the seventh set and the winner will get put in. This special poll will also have a twin on Patreon, to determine who stars in the seventh set. That means that if one person signs up for the appropriate Patreon tiers and votes, they can decide your fate. (Normally this means the $15 tier and up, but for this first poll I am going to make it available to the $5 tier and up.) If there is a tie and/or nobody signs up/votes on either poll I will decide the outcome(s). (Zayla won the last special poll so she will not get selected by me if nobody votes; she will be on the poll though.) There will also be a special preview of a new girl I made up on Patreon with the special poll, who will be an option on the poll to star in set seven. (I really like her, preview is up on Patreon right now along with the poll.)

Oh and here is the public preview of set six. The set features the newly redone Lucia and a mysterious box. What's in the box you ask? Well it's porn so take a wild guess, I would say that there is a pretty good chance you will get it right. Also the Patreon preview shows the box open if you are deathly curious. (I have since changed a few things though, that was a very early preview.) The set itself if almost done from a construction standpoint and I can hopefully start rendering tonight. So if all goes well (which it never does) it may be ready in the next couple of days.

Set six construction starting soon.

So I have planned through my next set, and will be starting work on it either today or tomorrow. I am going to try hard to keep it small this time as there as already been a large set this month (which is supposed to be my goal for the month). There is a tip as to who and what the set will feature on my Patreon feed. So hopefully next week (almost certainly not this week) or so this next set will be ready, but that is just a very rough estimate.

I have tons of ideas/plans/stories but very limited time to do all these things right now. I have a few sets planned through already, and a bunch of new girls to work through when time allows.

In the meantime, the fifth set is on Patreon for patrons, (some clean previews are below, there is also a story/comic version is included with the clean version in the archive listed on Patreon) and the fourth set was released here a few days ago. There are also three polls on the right of this blog that could use votes, I can't tell what people prefer without comments or votes, so either or both would really help.

EDIT 11/17: I just got a bunch of nice stuff off the DAZ store for 80% off. This should come in handy in the seventh set, as I have finally acquired some decent monster skins.

Side note, it has been a week since I posted the latest poll and literally nobody has voted on it or any others since then except one vote for the middle poll. I really need some kind of feedback for the fourth set, otherwise I just have to assume it's fine because I have no feedback. The two small sets vs one big set poll is currently on either by two votes and the story importance poll is tied but at fairly important levels. I could use more votes on all of these, I really do use the results for future ideas/sets so it makes a difference. A new poll will be posted next week or whenever I finish the sixth set.

Fourth set free release!

Hey everyone. It's two days early but here is the fourth set's free release. I am very interested in comments for this set and the fifth one. I know the "story" for this set is on the light side as far as words/content go, but this was my first attempt at implementing a story. The set was also done at the request of a friend, so the story had to be retrofitted in. It wasn't even supposed to have a story but I wanted to try implementing a story into this one so that I would know better for the next, better story. (I think the fifth set is much, much better from a story standpoint; check the previews below for clean image previews or Patreon for the full set.)

I am also posting a sort of new poll to help get feedback on this set as it is the first set with text implemented. The poll just asks how you feel about the implementation of the story into this set. It is very similar to an old poll about how I should have implemented stories into my sets, but this time there is something to judge your previous choice with. I have already done the fifth set in this style, but we will see what you all think of this first attempt.

Please vote in the polls, they help me a lot and give you all a way to influence my work. Real comments would also be helpful as long as they are constructive.

Huge poll discussion and two new polls!

So the big poll is closed now with some interesting results. There were a total of 44 votes this time which is great, so thanks to everyone who voted.

The two things with the most votes were Monsters and Vaginal sex. It makes sense, and I am looking into making better monster characters. Oral sex and anal sex got a fair amount of votes with anal coming in third between the big three (vaginal, oral, anal). I kind of figured this would happen as well, and this is fine. So far I have tried to include oral and vaginal sex in almost every set, as they tend to be the most frequent acts performed. I will try to work in more anal, it just depends on what the story requires/allows.

Lesbian sex, bondage, creampies and swallowing all got comparable amounts of votes too which is great because I like all these things as well. Tentacles and Futanari also got pretty high votes, and I will see about working those in more than I had previously intended. The fifth set I posted earlier has most of these things included already (not sure if futa/girl still counts as lesbian sex, I don't think so?), so there you go if that's what you wanted.

Gangbangs also got a good amount of votes and I would like to do this in some of my image sets, but I just can't right now. I am somehow managing to make decent renders with hardware in no way optimized for it, and I can barely render the scenes I make now on low settings. Three figures per scene seems to be my current limit, assuming there is a decent environment/lighting. (I meant to put threesomes on the big poll but somehow I forgot it.) If I get to the first goal on my Patreon, I can afford at least decent hardware to work with and then perhaps I can actually use more than three figures per scene. So if that is what you want, then you know how to help it happen.

Pregnant sex, prostitution, bukkake, titsex/breast caressing, masturbation/solo play, and orgies all got a fair number of votes for them, and most of these I can try to work in if I haven't already. Orgies have the same problem as gangbangs however, so I will have to wait on that one. Bukkake is also somewhat hard to do with my current software/hardware configuration, but I can look into it.

The things that came in last this time are handjobs/fingering, kissing/foreplay, and couples. I understand why few people voted for these as I asked you to pick your favorites. Kissing and handjobs are generally just part of a general sex sequence and rarely the main event. I will generally include these things anyway, if only one or two images of it. Couples scenes are just something that will be mandated by the story as well as my lack of decent hardware.

In other news, I have posted two new polls. One asks about if you prefer one large set or two smaller sets; as I intend to do one or the other each month at the very least. The other asks about just how important the story is to an image set, if at all. I will have at least one new poll (sort of) when I release the fourth set here in a few days, so vote on these in the meantime. I also did think of a bunch of other things to include on the next big poll, so watch out for that at some point in the future.

Set five posted to Patreon!

Hey everyone. It's a bit late but I stayed up to finish this tonight. This has been a messy last few days working on this, but that's what happens sometimes. Regardless, I finished the fifth set and posted the link on Patreon; it ended up being a massive 33 images. I want to emphasize that this is way over the 20 that I am for in a large set and is not normal; I just keep going overboard. If you want to see it before a month from now and help me make my images better and faster, check it out. The higher tiers on Patreon will also get to vote on fairly regular Patreon exclusive polls about things that go into my future sets. The set features Zayla as she won the previous special poll and also features Salune, a new character I made a while back. She was made to cater to the futanari crowd out there, which according to the current poll is substantial. Not necessarily my favorite thing, but if people want it, what can you do. Sorry about the delay on this, but if I had decent hardware at home to make this with stuff like that wouldn't happen. (And if it did I could fix it in hours instead of days...)

There is also a substantial chance that I made some minor errors in final construction of the fifth set, as I have been working for hours to get this done tonight and am really tired. I will check again as soon as I can and correct any issues that may be there. I also know I meant to talk about the big poll and post new ones, but that can wait until tomorrow. So I will post again then; in the meantime I hope you all like this new set. I think it came out really well and the the story part is hopefully good too. The story is more serious than the fourth set but still not quite up to the fairly serious level that people seemed to want from a previous poll. Quality is also improving as I get back into writing, and will only get better.

Fifth set in end phases

Hey all. Just a separate post for the update for today. The fifth set is done from a construction standpoint, just a few camera/lighting tweaks and such left to do today. I will try to render it all tonight, and do all the postwork tomorrow if time allows. If anything gets screwed up it may run into Saturday, but that is still this week so I am still on schedule for a Friday/Saturday Patreon release of the fifth set.

The vote has gone well and produced some interesting results. I will discuss the results in more detail when I post the fifth set. I also think that I will end the vote early as it seems to have run it's course. (Voting has slowed greatly in the past few days.) If something you like has low votes, you have one or two days left to get some more votes in before this early survey is over.

So unless something goes horribly wrong I should have the fifth set posted to Patreon either tomorrow or the day after, so check back then.

EDIT 11/7: So only about a third of the fifth set finished rendering last night, and at least a few most of the images that finished need redone due to lighting issues. The set is massive (30ish images rendering but some may be cut) and there is no way I will make it today, I will see if this can finish rendering before tomorrow, but even if it does I am fairly sure that I will not be able to finish the postwork tomorrow.  This delay just comes down to me not having any decent hardware to do this with at home.

As of now, it looks like Sunday or maybe Monday is when this should be done, if time permits. My original estimate would have correct if these rendered as fast as they usually do and/or if I didn't keep having raytrace problems with lighting. (Or if I made the set small like I planned to, but more is better usually.) Long story short, just stay tuned to see when this gets done; there is nothing I can do to make it go any faster unless I cut the size or quality which I don't want to do.

RE-EDIT: So after some troubleshooting I believe I have found the source of my raytrace issues. (A tree prop I was using.) I removed it and render speed is back to what it should be, at least in my one render test. After fixing the lighting, I am hoping that the set will render completely and properly tonight, but we shall see.

EDIT 11/8: About a third of the set rendered last night again, and some of it is fine, a few need redone again. I will see if these will finish today/tonight but it isn't really up to me how fast this goes. Not sure if I will make Sunday now either, but it just depends on how long this takes and how much I need to fix. This is getting ridiculous. I'm cutting some of the less important render settings to speed this up. I am still aiming for tomorrow or Monday.

RE-EDIT: So four hours in to the new render settings it has already surpassed the old ones at almost nine hours. Things look good to make tomorrow or Monday hopefully. I keep forgetting I have crap resources at home and I can't use good settings until I get something decent.

EDIT 11/9: I am fixing the remaining few lighting issues in the set right now, and will render the remaining images tonight. If I get enough time tomorrow, I should be able to finish the postwork on the set then.

EDIT 11/10: Redoing one image, but the rest are fine. I just don't have time to finish the postwork today. I'm hoping to get it done tomorrow but we will see.
