Three years later... - a status update.

Hey. I have no idea why anyone would intentionally check this page anymore while my other site is up and running; but since this blog apparently does still get a dozen views every few days or so still, here is a quick update as to what you guys may be missing over on my main page. http://redleatherart.com/wp I still do not plan to really update this blog further, I just felt compelled to leave something a bit more up to date than that old message, just in case someone finds this page and does not know about my new site and stuff.

This is the main menu graphic for Salune's Slave Training, (that slave training game I talked about making back when this blog was still used) which is currently at version 1.06, now with an expanded opening, night graphics, and some voice snippets for Zayla! (Hopefully with more to come.) The game was finished a few months ago, with smaller updates coming every two months or so. The game features sixteen different training activity options to play with, and two weeks to get all of Salune's stats as high as possible, to get one of the five different endings based on how well/bad you did. It also has a cg gallery, music, and even a password system to unlock the entire cg gallery if you get stuck. The training options themselves have at least four variations each, many with other text variations within those that vary based on assorted factors. New site done, phasing this blog out as much as possible.

Hey. So the new site is done (redleatherart.com/wp) and I am closing up this blog more or less.

If you are here reading this. chances are you found an old link or looked at one of my old renders with this URL on it. This was the home of my work until blogger attempted it's various anti-adult content shenanigans. As if the original attempt at banning adult blogs wasn't enough, this blog got taken down for about a day a while back for no reason whatsoever by some automated blogger anti-abuse system, but it is back up now. (There was literally no reason for it, they sent me a message saying that it was apparently an accident and reinstated my blog here.)

I had already planned on keeping my new site, but this last thing with blogger deleting my blog for no reason whatsoever was just the last straw. If you are someone who hosts adult stuff on blogger, I urge you to move elsewhere before any of this happens to you. I am hoping that this blog will remain up as a forward to my new site, redleatherart.com/wp, as I know that people will continue to come here as they find old renders of mine.

There will be new votes up there and all sorts of awesome new content soon enough, so check it out if you haven't already. This blog will still house all the old posts, and other things that I didn't bother porting over to the new page. However there will be no new content posted here, so head over to the new site to see all my new, fancy stuff!

Hey again. So I am still working on the banners and a few other images for various things, but the new site is up, and it is redleatherart.com/wp. It's taking longer than I thought it would, but I am trying to make things look really nice and give it all sorts of functions that I want/need. I have cloned the polls, so to the five people who actually voted, please revote over there. I also reposted all my old content (yes I know I could have imported the entire old blog but I wanted to start over as much as possible) and I posted the latest new set over there! (Set eight.) Sets 1 and 2 are also available in an archive download for the first time ever! Even though the site isn't totally done yet I wanted the handful of people that actually check my blog to see it first, so go check it out and let me know what you think!

If you are one of the people I have traded banners with on this blog; I plan to attempt to correct all my existing banner exchanges to the new site once I finish making the new banners. (So give me a week or so.) I will update all my links on deviantart and such once the banners are done. My Patreon page has been redone yet again to reflect the new situation, any and all support is appreciated and will help me to continue to do what I am doing. I still am not sure how long to extend the Patreon set exclusivity, so that is still in the air. (It probably won't get decided until the end of this month when I post the next set.) I am supporting this old blog until the end of march when I plan to leave the abandon ship message and move to the new site, so update your bookmarks and RSS links with new ones. This is good news of course, but I m not risking this shit happening again/for real. I already paid for the new site anyway... so I might as well use it. I also don't have to deal with many of the blogger/google restrictions on what I post on the new place anyway. (There are theoretical restrictions on what you can have on these blogs, or so I have heard.) So the current delays are still current, I hope to resume production sometime next month... I have no clue what to do with this blog now, there is no point in maintaining two pages and yet it apparently can continue to exist. I will probably just leave it up as a redirect as planned... No reason to not use the new site really; it should be better in every way once I get everything situated/figured out. Situation Update - Edited 2/26

Ok so I have a website, but I need time to set it all up. I am doing the best I can considering my web skills are mostly ten years out of date. I hope to have this done shortly, then I can begin moving the actual content from this blog to the new one. I plan to leave this blog up as a redirect, after I wipe all the images from it. I also plan to remake all the site images and banners, my skills have come a long way since I made those and they needed updating anyway...
 
EDIT 2/26: I have no idea how long this will take, but it is going to push things back two weeks at the absolute minimum. (So what was supposed to be this month's story set will likely be next month's instead due to unforeseen blogger circumstances.) New banners and such are looking nice so far, even in early previews due to octane. Side note, the Octane people sort of got back to me; still waiting on one message. Long story short, it seems like I have to manually do tattoos from this point forward due to Octane limitations. This isn't really a problem in most cases, it just takes some extra work to set up.

The only issue here will be for Salune's skin since she is fairly covered in tattoos, that one will suck to fix if I can even do it. There is the possibility that I may have to just edit the character down a bit to make this more doable, I will see how bad it is when I get there. (She has like... eight or so different textures that I will have to edit manually to get the tattoos working in Octane.) I will attend to that whenever I get the site setup, it is just one thing in a long list of crap I have to do before I get back to making sets again.

Even when I can get back to making proper content, now I have no idea what my new system will be like since now I have to pay just to host this stuff. Previously, I had planned to extend Patreon image set exclusivity for a month or two more, but now I don't even know what to do. Blame blogger for all this crap, I just hope other artists have some sort of backup plan as well... I can't even imagine how many people are getting screwed by this.

Status Update 2/23/15: Major problem next month and next set preview.

IMPORTANT EDIT: So I just got an email that blogger will no longer allow graphic explicit content as of march 23; (it looks real) which is a major problem as this blog is currently where I host my content. I can just remove all graphic content and give general previews such as this one, but I am not sure that will do it and this is still really bad. I don't get much of any real support from this yet, so paying for an actual website would be silly... Especially considering I just spent so much to buy Octane.  I have no idea what else to do other than wiping graphic content; other ideas/advice welcome... (And I thought things were going bad already...)

RE-EDIT: I am actually considering a separate website now, I have asked around and found some decent options, but this is still really shitty; for all adult artists on blogger, not just me. Any Patreon support would really be appreciated; especially now that I apparently am going to need it. I may have to redo my whole system due to this shit, I will see what happens. This completely fucks my schedule and I basically have to suspend further work until I figure this out. No point in making this stuff without someplace to put it...

Hey all. So I've been messing with Octane and trying to fix some problems that I've had with it so far. One major problem is fixed but the other I am still waiting to hear back from the Octane support people on. It has been a weird last week or so for me (it still is) and at best I may be able to finish the first part of this next set before next week. (The other half requires that tech support I haven't gotten a real response/solution to yet.) I could just render it with poser; but since I am building scenes with Octane in mind now, it would be silly not to use it. (It also takes literally a tenth the time and looks better.) Due to my getting Octane, I have to re-figure a ton of crap and do a lot of  things differently now; but overall it's much better. (At least for me as a creator, I am assuming the images look better too; I think so)

In any case, I did manage to get three figures working in an Octane scene which is nice because I can do what I was planning to do with this first part of set 9 and not the backup plan. Here is an early preview of part one of the next set; it will feature James and the two elf sisters from the last set. As always, this image may not be final; it is just a preview. I do not plan to release the set as part one and part two, but I may release part one on Patreon until part two is done; and then just post the full set. Even if the Octane people get back to me today, I still need time to finish all of this stuff; so getting everything done by next week is highly unlikely. Given all that's happened, I'd be surprised if I have anything done by the end of this week; but as always I will do my best. (Now highly unlikely to be done soon in any way due to blogger shenanigans, see above.)

Status Update: 2/11/15 - So far so good.

Hi again. So almost all that stuff I said I was looking into panned out. I have some music and sfx to put in the game, and I got the semi-complex event triggers working. There is little else to do from a structure standpoint given that I want to keep this first game somewhat simple, so it is coming down to time and content. I want this game to have a fair bit of content/different scenes but the more I put in, the longer it will take. Each event for this game is basically it's own miniset, and each miniset usually requires a day or so of work alone. (This is just for the images alone, that does not include the writing/coding of either.) It is probably best that I do what I currently plan to do though, I personally hate it when a game has multiple scenes with identical images and only slightly different dialogue, so I want to avoid that. (As I said before, I plan to have 3-4 variations per training option, each one would be a different image/scene.)

Initial tests that I did have shown that having the in game timer at 30 days might work, but I can't know until a handful of events are working. (It may need more, which is no problem.) I wish that I had something visual to show for this so far, but since it's all coding that would be a bad idea. I have made a lot of progress this past week and have gotten almost everything I wanted to include working in the technical sense. (Still working on the gallery. Actually I have the gallery basically working now, at least for images. Apparently I was trying to do this an old way which no longer works, so now that I have used the new method it works.) I will be busy this coming weekend, so there will not likely be an update until next week sometime, when I will be working on this month's story set. Status Update 2/8/15 - Looking into some new features for the slave training game.

Hey. So I worked on some coding related stuff yesterday with the time that I had. I am still working through some extra things, trying to see what little extras and helpful things I can get working. I want this game to be nice, but I also want to keep it simple enough that I can finish it in a few months. There are many little things that I would like to include if I can; such as more variations, sound effects, music, and maybe a gallery.

As currently planned, each 'activity' is basically it's own mini-set, with 3-4 variations of one or two images each (more for the complex options) depending on how many times it has been done and/or Salune's stats. Once I get most of the coding situated I can work on making the scenes/writing. I know enough from previous small games and other things I have made to get all the mechanics right before doing content. Essentially the base coding is all situated, but the rest will depend on how many bells and whistles I can get working/find content for.

I still could use votes in the new polls, votes so far are really low for whatever reason. One poll asks if you prefer quality or quantity when it comes to images, and the other asks if you want me to focus on story sets. I do use the results from the polls, as shown in the previous post and prior polls so votes are appreciated. Questions and comments are welcome, just keep it constructive.

1/29/15 - Status Update and new special poll.

Hi again. So I tried to render set eight last night but once again poser queue manager decided not to work for whatever reason, so I basically lose a day of work. Even assuming that I can get the renders done tonight, I probably won't be able to post this set before the technical end of the month. (Re-renders and postwork takes a day or two and a fair bit of time which I may not have. I have it rendering now, but it takes over ten hours total [assuming there are no problems] and I can't work on anything else if it renders during the day.) This set will probably be put out next week, unless there are basically no rendering problems tonight. (Unlikely.)

I did put out the two animations this month already, as well as all the character bios; so there has been content put out this month. (Each animation is basically a small set by itself as far as work goes, and two small sets per month was my original goal for production.) I think I can finish the Patreon mini-set before sunday at least, but we will see about that as well. Long story short, don't be surprised if this stuff gets pushed back to next week. I would rather it be a bit late and done well than rushed and crappy. (I'm doing the best I can with no real equipment to work with, but I can't make it work when it doesn't want to.)

In other news, there is a new special poll up on the right side of the blog, under the other two polls. This poll was specifically made for those people that actually check my blog often and actually vote in the polls and even read what I write here. This special poll just asks what you want to see me put effort towards for the first half of next month, as many of the high end Patreon polls would. There are a few different options, not all of which will see immediate results. (Some options are simply putting more work towards certain things; they are the ones that say "work on".) The poll will be up for one week starting today, so vote now for your favorite choice.

Also, poll results for the other two polls are very interesting so far; though one does conflict badly with many previous poll results. I will check that out and discuss it when those are done though.

EDIT 1/30: I have had these images rendering for over 24 hours now including re-renders. I will do the best I can to get this posted before sunday, the Patreon miniset will be delayed a bit but whatever; I prefer to finish this main set if I can. There is a small chance I might be able to actually make it, we shall see.

Set eight public preview and two new polls up!

Hi all. Here is the public preview of the first chapter of the upcoming story set. There is still a lot of work to do but I hope to finish it this month. There are two images below, the left one contains the two new persistent characters, James and Tabitha. (Their bios will be put on the character page when the set gets finished.) The right image features two of the three non-persistent characters in the set; an elven girl and a big orc. These images are not final and certain bits of the images/characters may be tweaked, but they are good enough for previews.

There are also two new polls up on the right, one asking about breast size preference and the other asking how dark you like your content. So vote away and spread the word! Set seven will be posted here in a few days, so check back for that. I also posted a different angle gif for the animation in the last post earlier today, so check that out if you haven't yet.

As far as the previous polls go, it seems that Zayla is still the favorite character by a wide margin (I figured as much when I first made the poll); but all the other girls got a fair number of votes as well this time, so that's good. Regarding the most important aspect poll, body came in first place as most important with nine votes (I am guessing that this relates to Zayla); followed by personality, face, backstory, and sexual preferences all coming in second place by getting about four votes each. Hair got two votes, race got one, and nobody voted clothes as the most important thing, which I understand but I still find somewhat surprising since everything else got at least one. Anyway, I will check back in once I have something so post. Constructive comments  on the previews are welcome.

Status Update: 1/15/15 - Set eight construction in progress.

Hi again. I haven't had time to do that much this week, but I have started construction on the next image set. (Characters/story done, I need to finish the scene then start making the actual images.) This one will be interesting because it is the first one that is part of a proper story arc, so some things will be a bit different in a few ways (such as more dialogue/non-sex images per set). This upcoming set also has five figures in the scene which is making things interesting to work on it.

I have the one preview up on Patreon of the two new named characters appearing in this next set, (it has been up for a while but I just reposted it with a better looking one) and I am posting a second early preview on Patreon right now of the other three figures in the set. Put the two previews together and you may guess a fair bit of what might happen in this next set. I will keep working on the new set, and see if I have time to fix that other animation over the weekend; but no guarantees there, this one is more complicated than the last one and has all kinds of issues. I also posted some new images on deviant art, so check that out and keep voting in the two polls here.

The current plan is to post an actual image preview (like a semi-final one, the ones on Patreon now are early previews because the scene construction isn't done) sometime next week to Patreon, then post it here a while later, so watch for that. If you don't want to wait, you can support me on Patreon now and see the early previews, or even vote in the polls at the mid level tiers for my upcoming projects/minisets as well as get access to all sorts of other stuff that I have posted for the different tiers. All support helps my work get better, faster as well as give me more time and motivation which enables me to work on this and my side projects more (like the game idea I posted before). The seventh set will be posted here towards the end of the month, so hopefully I can get this set done before that, but this one is complicated so maybe not. I also need to do a miniset for Patreon by the end of the month, so I have a lot to do.

EDIT 1/18: I did a bit of work yesterday on the next set, but didn't have much time today. There was a bunch of real life issues to deal with; hopefully I will have more time in the coming week.

Luxrender attempt and Poser Pro 2012 comparison

So I put up the pictures on the character bio page, I just used good ones of the characters that I had made before with two exceptions. I think they look great and fit the page perfectly, and they are clickable for the full size images. (Still working out the html jumps, I don't think blogger likes them.)

Below are two render images I made this weekend, the one on the left is my luxrender attempt from the past 24 hrs, and the one on the right is the same scene in poser. I know the lighting is different; you have to use special lights for reality/luxrender for it to look good. The camera is also tilted a bit more in one image, but this was for the sake of lighting in luxrender.

The main problem here is that the one on the left has been rendering for over 12 hours (and still isn't really done yet) and it still looks pretty meh to me. (Karen kind of looks like a barbie doll to me in the left image >_<) The poser render on the right took around ten minutes and looks perfectly fine to me. In my opinion, the one on the right is a much better image overall, despite taking far less time and being done in a theoretically inferior render engine.









Now, it is totally possible that the luxrender image looks like crap because I have no clue what I'm doing yet. I actually really hope this is the case; because this is the only advanced render engine I can afford by myself anytime soon. The only other one I know of is Octane, (which looks AMAZING)  but the license for that alone costs over $500. (That is for one machine only and I would almost certainly need a separate render machine too.) The only way I could really afford that is if I get enough Patreon support.

I will keep trying with luxrender, but I posted these here to prove that I tried and explain why I have no plans to use this for actual renders in the near future. The luxrender image here took over 12 hours to do, during that time I could have rendered a full quality 30 second animation in poser or even designed most of a new image set. Rendering makes my only good computer useless for anything else during that time, so this is off the table until something changes to make it viable/worth it.

One is very open ended about what patrons want to see in the next Patreon set(s), and the other asks who should be the main heroine in my first VN attempt. Initial Character Bios Up!

Hey everybody. I finished the writing parts of the character bios ahead of schedule and have posted it all on the "Characters" page up there. Unfortunately I am still having issues getting reality/luxrender working right, or even get html page jumps working right, so it is just text right now. However if you are one of those people that like to know the back-story for the characters (stares at the results of the most important trait poll) then this page for you. I think I got the basics covered, I didn't want to go overboard with the initial bios; I can always edit/expand them later. (I planned to anyway.) There is one for each of the five girls that I have made so far up right now.

I spent over six hours so far today screwing around with reality and luxrender, and while I have made some progress; it is far from what I need/want in most cases. (And nowhere near worth the time/effort put in to make one image.) I think I am just going to have to use regular renders for the characters page for now; I will see about getting that in in the next few days.

Keep voting in the polls to the right, both help me a lot. Also remember there are two polls up on my Patreon page for patrons that will decide what goes into some of my upcoming projects, so if any of the things in the post below sound good to you, check it out.

Status Update 12/31/14 and Happy New Year!

Hey again. I have been working on the character bios for the various characters I have already made as well as a handful of new ones that nobody has seen yet. I hope to get the initial ones finished within the week, and I plan to post previews on Patreon of the newer characters before the set(s) featuring them is/are posted here.

Speaking of Patreon, I have posted a new poll up there for the $5 tier and up. The poll is simple, it asks which of the many things listed do you want to see come together (pun definitely intended) in a mini set. (It may be a full set if a lot of people vote or if I get carried away again.) The top two choices from the poll will be put into a mini set for Patreon. (Obviously at least one of the top two needs to be a female, if not I will use the top choice and whoever the highest voted girl is.) There are a variety of choices on the poll, including all the girls I have made so far, all the monster options from the set seven poll, as well as options for a random female slave, either human or elf. There is also one new monster option: a Cerberus! This poll will be up for the month of January, and may even be used twice if there are a lot of votes. (i.e. one mini set for mid-January with whatever is winning at the time, and another for February with the ending winners.)

This is a far more generous poll than I intend to usually do, as it has basically everything that I have done/offered as an option. So if you want to see some specific combination from that list, this is your chance. You also get to help support my work and get access to the Patreon content for the appropriate tiers that is already up! (Such as the last two sets I made.)

Anyway, keep voting on the polls here on the blog as well and watch for the bio pages being added here within a week. (Hopefully.) Finally, Happy New Year to everyone!

EDIT 1/2/2015: I also posted a new poll on Patreon for the $15 tiers and up giving a choice of heroines for my first attempt at a VN/choose your own adventure game. Most of my girls so far are available as choices, as well as options for a random female elf and a random human girl. If one of the random girl options wins the vote, things can get... darker... as far as story twists/content go. (Since they would [probably] be one-off characters, they don't need to get out of the trouble they get in...unless maybe you really want them to.) As far as the character bios go, I am done with most of the writing, I didn't want to put too much in this early. I would like to get pictures up on the page to go with all the text, but it isn't behaving so far. Hopefully I can sort this out over the weekend.
 

Set 7 Preview/Update and new Deviant Art page

Hey. I am working on the seventh set but progress has been slow due to real life factors. I just haven't had large enough breaks of time to do much because of the coming holiday, and this probably won't change until the weekend. This means the seventh set will be pushed back to next week, but this is an intentionally large set for once (the only public one this month) and I have put a lot of work into it already. Below is a low res but high quality preview of the two characters in the seventh set, a minotaur, as voted in the special poll here and a new girl I haven't used yet; Helenya the Demoness. (This is the one that has had a preview of her up on Patreon for a while; the one I said that I really liked.) This particular image may not actually be used in the full set, I just needed to make a preview image that had both characters fully in the frame and facing the camera that didn't give too much away. Long story short, the set is taking longer than I thought (as usual) but I think this will be really nice so I want to give it the time it needs. Constructive comments on the preview are welcome.

In other news I now have a Deviant Art page. It's actually been up for a while but I haven't really used it since almost two weeks ago now. (I made it two months ago to contact some people, but recently decided to use it for promotional reasons.) It has gotten a fair bit of attention so I am going to continue updating it when I can. There is a link to it on the right of the blog, and while much of it's contents are just softcore previews of the full sets available here, there are a few images that you probably haven't seen yet up there. So check that out if you want and watch me on Deviant Art if you have an account there to keep up with any updates I make to that gallery.

On a side note, there was a weird jump in the polls in the last few days; all of the side project votes went to the simulation game, but the ones for the fetish preferences seem more spread out (I think?) so I don't think it was stuffed; but it might have been. Maybe someone got friends to vote for them or maybe I just got a weird surge in votes. Whatever the case, more interest in the polls is good; keep it coming. Special information for those of you that actually read this far down; there will be another update here with a special image posted (not from the seventh set) sometime over the weekend, there may be a hint/preview on my Deviant Art page somewhere. (I think you need an account to see images containing nudity, but it's free.)

Status Update: 12/15/14

Hey. I have started work on the seventh set but yesterday and today have been crazy, so not much has gotten done yet. I am shooting for next weekend, but we will see how that goes. There will be a preview posted here at some point in the next week before the set is done so watch for that.

As an update to the serious story situation, I have finished most of what I needed to do in preparation; I am just waiting to get reality 4 working if at all possible. I wanted to wait to start an actual story arc until I got a decent rendering card and/or reality working. Reality is mostly fixed but is still having some issues, and even if it was working I can't use reality for everything. Reality renders tend to look a lot better but take exponentially more time to make, time that I can't spare for normal sets right now. I have to render everything manually with reality, and it takes hours; so this will be for special images and mini-sets only until the situation changes. (i.e. I get a separate rendering machine and/or enough support to warrant the time/effort.) However the first story arc and initial characters are all set to go, I may just have to go ahead and start it up in January either way, (I was hoping to anyway) but we shall see. If all goes well I may have the character info pages done before the end of the month, but again I was really hoping to get reality working for those.

In other news, I went ahead and looked into making VNs and such over the weekend and it turned out better than expected. Below is a screencap of the tiny test game I made to check that everything worked OK. Obviously this is just a basic test but the execution was successful so this means that VNs, the choose your own adventure style game, and the actual adventure game options could be done at this point. The rpg maker game, dating sim, and simulation game would take a lot more work and research to do well, not to mention time. (I know how to use rpg maker xp but I am not familiar with VX ACE yet, also are few things I don't know about using custom content in rpg maker.)

The VN style things seem more on the level of what I can afford to do both with my time and current skill level with python. (These could be done in a week or two for smallish ones, the harder projects would probably take months of solid work which I can't do right now.) Animations are already in the plans and tested, as I posted last week. All of these things just depend on the time I can spare and the interest of people in them. So keep voting if you want any of these things to happen! More votes = more interest = higher chance of it happening. Comments and follows are always helpful as well. (Follow widgets are under the polls on the right.)

Second special poll winner and new big poll up!

Hi again. I haven't finished the new Patreon set yet, it ended up being normal sized and will take another day or two to finish the postwork.  I think it turned out well considering that it was supposed to be five or six softcore images, and it will have a little story to go with it. (Which it wasn't supposed to have either.)

In other news, the second special poll is over, and it seems people want to see a minotaur in the seventh set; so I will work that in. Since there were no votes in the Patreon poll, I guess I'll just use the new girl I have ready for this set. (Probably, I might change my mind.) Production on this set should start later this week.

In any case I am posting a new big poll featuring some more fetishes that I could include in my work at some point. This is simply a gauge of interest in these things, it does not guarantee anything will happen but it lets me know what you all like. (I put threesomes on this one because I forgot it last time.) A few things on this poll I don't really care for and one in particular I really dislike. However I am posting this anyway to see how interested all of you are in these things. As before pick a few (3-5 things per person please) of your favorites, and if you really like some fetish that wasn't on either of the big polls, leave a comment saying what it is and why it is awesome and I may include it in future polls.

Status Update:12/1/14

Hey again. The polls are going fairly well so far, with plenty of time for things to still change. The special poll is fairly bent towards the first option, but a handful of votes could completely change that. So keep voting and spread the word, anything can still happen.

The side project poll is going along nicely, but still needs input as well. This poll is not a simple win/lose poll; I am gauging the desire for these various types of side projects. Unless something literally gets zero votes, it is at least an idea on the table for future plans. So vote for your favorite(s) and tell your friends; more votes here means a higher likelihood of it happening.

On the other hand, the Patreon poll has no votes yet. This poll asks which of my girls do you want to see star in the seventh set? (4 named girls so far and one new option, preview of her on Patreon.) I will have to choose the winner if nobody signs up/votes, so if you want the seventh set to feature one of my girls specifically, this is your chance; one vote could decide it at this stage. I have also recently redone much of the Patreon page and edited numerous things to reflect my current plans. (Some edits still pending.) Any and all support would help expedite those plans and make my work better.

EDIT 12/2: So my new hardware arrived and is installed and working great. I can render in half the time now, which is really nice. I am fiddling around trying to get reality to work right but having issues. I will update this again if/when I can get that going. So apparently Reality 4 has a ton of release issues that don't look to be fixed anytime soon, so that will have to wait. Also I am part way through making a Patreon mini-set (maybe full set, we will see), it should be done in the next few days, so watch for previews of that.

Set 6 public preview, status update, and a new poll

Hey all.  Nobody is voting on the old polls so I am taking them down and putting up a new one right now and I will post another special poll when set six is done. It seems people think a story is fairly important to an image set, and that either one large set or two small sets is fine.  The new poll asks which of the following ideas most appeals to you. As in the last big poll, you can vote for multiple options but keep it to two or three please. To explain this a bit, I have done most of these things before and/or want to try to do them here if/when I find the time. I will go ahead and say that voting on this is rather important; probably more so than the upcoming special poll, as it will tell me what people are interested in seeing. The new poll is up now; on the right of the blog under the Patreon link, and should be up for a month-ish.

On the other hand, there were no votes whatsoever regarding the implementation of the story in set four, so I just have to assume it was decent. It was basically a test run of implementing a story, so the story itself was very limited and in no way representative of what I can/will be doing. The story in set five however is pretty good and much more representative of what I usually do. (The set itself is better too.)

The comic of set five is a self-contained story, as I am trying to work up to getting a small story arc together. I have the characters made and a story mostly planned, I just need to find time to work on it. (I also wanted to wait until I had poser lighting mostly figured out, which I think I do now.) It is really hard to manage with so little time/assets but I am trying.

I will also post a new special poll whenever the sixth set is finished, so keep checking back for that; it will ask what monster(s) you all want to see in the seventh set and the winner will get put in. This special poll will also have a twin on Patreon, to determine who stars in the seventh set. That means that if one person signs up for the appropriate Patreon tiers and votes, they can decide your fate. (Normally this means the $15 tier and up, but for this first poll I am going to make it available to the $5 tier and up.) If there is a tie and/or nobody signs up/votes on either poll I will decide the outcome(s). (Zayla won the last special poll so she will not get selected by me if nobody votes; she will be on the poll though.) There will also be a special preview of a new girl I made up on Patreon with the special poll, who will be an option on the poll to star in set seven. (I really like her, preview is up on Patreon right now along with the poll.)

Oh and here is the public preview of set six. The set features the newly redone Lucia and a mysterious box. What's in the box you ask? Well it's porn so take a wild guess, I would say that there is a pretty good chance you will get it right. Also the Patreon preview shows the box open if you are deathly curious. (I have since changed a few things though, that was a very early preview.) The set itself if almost done from a construction standpoint and I can hopefully start rendering tonight. So if all goes well (which it never does) it may be ready in the next couple of days.

EDIT 11/24: Set six almost done but I don't think I will have enough time to finish tonight. Hoping for tomorrow.
